Here on the left is the custom Middle-Atlantic AV rack from a recent installation in the South Tampa area. The home has multiple rooms with two theaters (one of them is shown) and another surround system in the master bedroom. Everything in the house is controlled via a Crestron control system. There are (3) of the TPMC-3X handheld remote controls through the home to run the different rooms.  With the remote controls you can turn the system on, change channels, volume as well as see the songs and album covers in system wide iPod file sharing system.    

Outdoor speakers can make entertaining a lot more enjoyable for you and your guests.  Music helps set the mood at a party.  We located these speakers directly around the pool for a few reasons.  The first was to be able to bring up the volume level while the home owner is enjoying the pool.  The second was so there would be with less chance of the neighbors be bothered by any bleed over in the music.

This home is in Sarasota, Florida.  This customer was very serious about the sound quality of his system.  Because of that we used the PSB CHS212 Subwoofer.  The subwoofer was hidden below the TV in the center of the cabinet.  We used the CHS212 to pump out some serious bass for his movies.  For the main left and right speakers we used the PSB CHS80's.  These speaker cabinets are built to fit inside custom furniture cabinets.  Check them out on PSB's website under "in cabinet speakers."  By using a specified cabinet PSB can design the speakers to sound much better than they would by relying on the cabinet makers design.  The entire system is controlled by an RTI RF control system using the t2+ remote control. 

Some people are more into being entertained by sports rather than movies. This system was put together for a couple that really likes to watch sports. Many times there are two good events on at the same time. With this system you don't have to choose, you can watch them both. We even put a command button on the remote control to flip-flop the screens during a commercial. The tower speakers were something that they already owned and since the PSB Stratus Golds speakers are one of the finest ever made we incorporated it into the design. The room is very small so the main TV was sunk into the wall, both the equipment cabinet and Tv are accesable from the rear.

This is a cool system we did for the customer.  The room is a large room that incorporates a small mini theater as well as a home studio the owner uses to play and write music in.  Also in this room, the owner has displayed his unique guitar collection.  It's a very modern look and feel!  Those are the PSB Vision 300 speakers on the side of the TV.

In this job we used an Equipment the customer had purchased himself.  The cabinet fit in well with the rest of the room design.  The PSB Image 6T towers matched the decor very well.  If you can work a tower speaker into your design you will so much more squality sound for your money.  Tower speakers may be large and don't work aestetically for everyone but they do sound great and are always a far better value than in wall or ceiling speakers.

This is a gorgeous house with a lot of attention to detail.  The only down side to it?  There wasn't a lot of room for a TV room.  As you can see fromt he picture the viewing room is sandwiched directly between the kitchen and a hallway.  We workied with the owner and his cabinet maker to come up with a design everyone was happy with.  The room looks great and sounds good too!

This was a very interesting job.  The house was an older contemporary design and the inside looked totally different than the outside.  Almost everything in the home was built with cement and we were concerned about taming the sound.  The cabinet builders did a nice job of hiding our equipment and really made the walls with the built in cabinets look nice.
